Wind Creek Wetumpka- a fresh casino costing around $246 million is being built up in Wetumpka and will be completed probably by May, 2013. This information has been confirmed by council of Poarch Band of Creek Indians. There will be 285 rooms, gaming facility and up-to-date restaurants in the casino. In addition to fun and entertainment, more than 600 residents will be employed and around 1,200 jobs will be created in the construction sector. The people who will be get employment benefits from this casino comprise of the tribal members and the people residing in vicinity of Wetumpka, as stated by the Poarch Tribal Chairman- Buford Rolin. In addition to this, there will be significant development in the Wetumpka Community as far as business is concerned. A large amount of money has already been spent by the tribe on its Hotel in Atmore and Wind Creek Casino and tribe is expected to replicate the same model in fresh casino too. Under the possession of tribe, there is an additional gambling site named Alabama in its Creek Casino Montgomery. The tribe has declared about its scheme for construction of Hyatt Place Hotel near Pensacola Airport costing $24 million in association with Innisfree Hotels in addition to the hose-racing track in Gretna, Fla. The tribe has already employed over 2,100 persons in around ten business houses or similar groups and more jobs are expected to be created by the closing of the year.
