Mohegan is the first Indian tribe to do that. Uninterrupted resistances of the city have created large disorder in this town. Revel had to struggle too hard to retain its position and one more facility has also made extra innovations in their set up just to keep the things going.

The New Jersey Casino Control Commission has given its approval to the Mohegan Indian tribe the role of new Managing Partner of Resort Casino, making it the maiden casino owned by Indians in Atlantic City. For the coming five years, the Indian casino company would be controlling the routine operations of the oldest casino of the resort, with a share of ten percent in the property. It would also establish itself in the trade that it has been acting as a consultant for the past many months. After the consent by the authorities, the Mohegan Indian Tribe has to initiate application.

Matthew Levinson, the Chairman of the commission apprised that since Mohegan has been accorded the consent, it would be empowered to implement the practices and policies that have enabled it to achieve grand success in respect of its Connecticut facility. He added that Mohegan Tribe is the first entity that has entered Atlantic City and lot of people would be attracted towards it. Now the tribe should move the requisite application to obtain the casino service industry license to prove its novel status as Resorts Casino’s share holders.
