Mastu Islandsí population grows; Sands China yet to apply for tablesí location; Macau gaming activities generate hiked revenues

The remote islands of Mastu have registered a growth of 11.24% in their population after the prospective casino establishments have been favoured by the local populace through their voting rights exercised during the last summer, says the reports revealed by the officials of the Taiwanese government. A figure of   11,310 citizens has been reported by Lienchiang County while the number at the close Kinmen County has recorded an increase of 8.5% to 113,111 residents. The increase in the number of residents can be attributed greatly due to the people’s positive attitude towards casino activities in the region.
