With the combined efforts of Melco Crown Entertainment and the SM Group, there would be an opportunity for the part of public to enjoy the superb improved Belle Grande by the end of 2013. This fact has been confirmed by Willy Ocier, the chairman of Belle Grande via a text message. With an investment of around $580 million by Melco in the $1-billion project (Belle Grande), the design and concepts would be upgraded and it will come forward as the second gaming center in this area by the Pagcor (Philippine Amusement & Gaming Corp.). In the beginning, Belle and Leisure & Resorts World Corp. was associates wherein LR played the role to get grounds from Belle on rent. However, the provision of a hotel with 800 rooms was required by the Pagcor. Belle and additional Premium Leisure and Amusement Inc. confirmed the hiring processing and progression of the hotel complex. According to Philippine Economic Zone Authority, when the project gets registered as a tourism economic zone, the implementation of the associate deal is conditional as per statement of the Melco. A British company based in Virgin Islands will carry out the gaming and non-gaming activities. To its credit, Melco has been amongst the six companies for which the concessions or sub-concessions for the beginning of the casino are tolerable. Melco aims at building a City of Dreams, with urban amusement resort including wonderful night clubs, chic dining, 1400 deluxe guest rooms, a fresh casino, stylish brand shopping and the House of Dancing Water. To add to the beauty of the sight, there would be deluxe retail stores and food plus drink shops around the 1.8 hectares of complete gaming area. This whole project of multi-faceted tourism and gaming would be built upon on a land of over six hectares located at Aseana Business Park in Paranaque City.
