Acquisition of Silver Slipper costs $70m for Full House Resorts

... 25 September 2012

Following acceptance of the request for a gaming license in the state by the Mississippi Gaming Commission on Friday, Full House Resorts proceeded further in the attainment of the Silver Slipper Casino costing $70 million. In an investigation report it was informed by the senior gaming analyst of Carret & Co. LLC, Brean and Murray to Justin Sebastiano that they think it to be a passageway for management to accomplish acquisition process by 1st Oct.

It was declared in April by Full House which is located in Las Vegas, that it will purchase the casino built on an area of 37,000 sq. ft of land in Hancock district of Mississippi. There are 30 table games, five poker tables and 963 slot machines in the casino in addition to two bars and three restaurants.  The contract was authorized on Thursday by the Gaming Commission.

As per Sebastiano’s assumption, the casino is efficient. However, the actual development will take place upon construction of a hotel by Full House on the land. A hotel with 100-150 rooms is hoped to be opened prior to the end of 2013. The stock of Full House is assessed as worth purchasing with an objective cost of $4.50. There was a 35 cents or 10.45% rise in its shares which shut down at $3.70 among a large number of 41,049 shares bought and sold on the New York Stock Exchange.
